Do I need to pay to use the app?

Choros begins with a free 30-day trial. To get started, you'll submit a request to join and add a card on file. If approved, you'll receive full access to the app and can try activities during your trial. After the trial, membership is $40 every 3 months. The membership helps keep groups small, follow-through high, and the community reliable.

How often do people use Choros?

Some guys do something on Choros every week, others one or two times a month. It’s designed for busy guys who don’t have the time to plan and coordinate. You just show up.

Is Choros for dating?

No, this isn’t a dating app. Choros is focused on friendship and community for men. We welcome men of all backgrounds who are joining with the intent to build friendships and a stronger sense of community.

I don’t live near DC. Can I still join?

Right now, the core of our member base is in DC and Northern Virginia. If you’re close enough and willing to drive in for events, we’d love to have you.

Can’t I just download the app and get going? Why do I have to request an invitation?

We do that to make sure everyone has a great experience from day one. Choros is built around small group experiences, not big open meetups. The invite process helps us learn a bit about you and match you to the right kinds of activities and people so you’re set up for the best fit possible.
